Setting up a new project


Google Drive Setup

When a project comes in for us to estimate, give it a name and set it up as a folder in Google Drive under “Estimating”. (we will then move that project folder into “Open Projects” or “Estimating Archive” if it is not awarded)

Each project folder within Google Drive will have a series of folders where information will be stored. Copy + Paste the template list of folders from the “New Project Folders” template folder in Google Drive.


Company cam/BuildertRend setup

Fill in all client information and contract amount

Make sure the schedule is complete and online

Make sure there are photos added

Upload the client’s logo/photo

Review all the plans and specifications.

Develop a subcontractor bid list.(if applicable)
