DocuSign is used for requesting signatures on documents, like Contracts or Change Orders if the Client is not set up within Buildertrend


HOW TO USE DOCUSIGN TO OBTAIN A SIGNATURE

  1. Drag and drop the contract PDF file into DocuSign then click “Next”

    2. Click “add recipient” and “set signing order”

    3. Enter your name and email address for first signer and the Client’s full name and email address for the second signer then click “Next”

    4. Select the appropriate signer on the top left dropdown then click and drag the Signature, Full Name, and Date Signed fields for each signer onto the sign lines then click “Next”

    5. Write a nice message to the client and click “Send”
